March 11th Discussion | The Secret Garden
The Magician · Judgement · The Sun
This Secret Garden discussion through the Arcana Series is a salon-style tarot storytelling evening. We will examine what happens when life is given attention and care. Through the lens of the Secret Garden, we explore the use of tools, the call to step into responsibility, and the way truth and vitality return once something long neglected is brought back into the light.
The event will take place at the Little James in Savannah!
Space is limited.
salon-style storytelling experience
Tarot cannot be fully taught through words alone.
Its symbols live through myth, image, culture, language, and—most importantly—the lived experience of the person encountering them. Meaning is not fixed; it is shaped by perception.
The Secret Garden explores this truth through story, revealing patterns & exploring ancient and modern themes throughout our world.
A tale as old as time
This is not a tarot reading and not a workshop.
It is a salon-style storytelling experience—intentional, reflective, and participatory—where tarot is encountered as a living symbolic language rather than something to be memorized.
Guests gather in circle and are invited into conversation, reflection, and shared meaning-making.
No prior tarot knowledge is needed.
Only curiosity, presence, and a willingness to listen.
The magician
The Magician represents the moment you realize you are not powerless — you are underutilizing what you already possess.
judgement
Judgement is not about shame or punishment. It is about awakening to a higher level of responsibility. It is the call you cannot un-hear. Judgement is the moment you stop negotiating with your own potential.
THe Sun
The Sun is what happens when something long neglected is brought back into care. Vitality returns. Color returns. Warmth returns. The Sun is not forced positivity. It is the natural brightness that emerges when blockages are removed.

HOST
Shena Tarie
Shena Tarie creates curated storytelling experiences rooted in archetype, symbolism, and lived human experience. She uses tarot not as a predictive tool, but as a narrative framework — a way to explore the patterns people live inside and the choices they make within them. With over twenty years of experience, she approaches the cards as a language of meaning, similar to literature, mythology, or psychology. Rather than focusing on fixed definitions, she’s interested in how each archetype reveals itself in real life — through change, desire, power, responsibility, and growth.
Through Arcana: A Storytelling Series, Shena hosts thoughtfully designed gatherings that feel more like conversations than performances. Her work centers on symbolic literacy — helping people recognize archetypal patterns in stories, relationships, and their own lives. Instead of offering answers, she creates space for reflection and recognition, where insight arises naturally and learning becomes embodied.
