Last December we hosted the first ever Scarlet Thread Event - our Jingle & Mingle Singles Mixer at the Hawthorn Mini-Bar. This month, we are taking it back where it all started.
Join us for a Scarlet Thread Social at Hawthorn Mini Bar, where games, conversation, and a little bit of fate come together.
You’ll move through the night with a simple “Connection Code”—a playful way to discover how you naturally connect with others, inspired by Human Design.

Sam Howarth
Sam Howarth is the founder & soul alignment guide behind The Way She Was Made. Using intuitive guidance, human design, astrology & holistic coaching Sam as a mind, body, soul & business approach to helping you holistically connect with yourself and others to realign with your purpose and move forward standing in your power.
As a 4/6 generator in human design her soul purpose is rooted in connection, relationship building and being a bridge to help others connect with themselves and others that they are meant to along their journey.
Shena Tarie
Shena is an intuitive guide offering services blending her gifts in human design, gene keys , tarot and intuitive guidance to help mirror back to you your full potential while helping you release any patterns or blocks that may be holding you back from connecting to your true self, achieving your goals and connecting to your soul path.
As a 2/4 Manifesting generator, Shena is here to help guide others through connections that are naturally drawn in to her. Pairing with her intuitive gifts to help you align with your soul purpose and honoring your path she is here to help offer guidance along your journey.

We curate intentional social experiences that bring people together with intention. Our gatherings combine thoughtful activities with gentle frameworks like Human Design to help connection unfold naturally, without pressure.

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT FOR THE EVENT?
This event is open to anyone over the age of 21!
WILL I BE MATCHED WITH PEOPLE 1-1?
Throughout the evening we will help guide you through intentional activities including the connection code activity, optional human design readings, games, intentional connections and invite you to connect with others! As we see a potential paring opportunity we will also connect you with people we think may be a good match!
CAN I GET A HUMAN DESIGN OR INTUITIVE GUIDANCE SESSION WITH YOU ALL?
YES! We would love to connect with you to help you learn more about yourself and how you are designed to connect! Both Shena & Sam offer 1:1 and small group coaching and guidance to support you in achieving your goals and breaking through any blocks or patterns that have kept you stuck! Please also feel free to come up to us at the event and we would love to go through your chart with you and answer any questions you may have.
ARE THERE ANY RULES ON CONNECTING WITH PEOPLE AFTER THE EVENT?
This event is designed to help break down the barriers of connecting with others and help you have real time connections that are facilitated outside of the digital space. We are there to guide and help you connect with others at the event - Many of our attendees have made friends, business connections and relationship connections at our events through breaking down the walls and being present and open to connecting without the pressure of finding “the one” connection. That being said- we will not share contact information with others on your behalf - If you are interested in connecting at the event please feel free to get the contact info of others to stay in touch keeping in mind that you are respectful of their privacy as well. We will not share your information on your behalf. We also have our free community available to stay connected and make new friends and connections as well.
Is this a friendship mixer or a singles mixer?
We have done both singles & friendship mixers in the past and given the feedback from our audience, we have decided to combine our socials to break down the barriers and make genuine connection the focus. Our Scarlet Thread Socials are open mixers with intentionally curated activities & spaces for you to come as you are, take down the walls and just be YOU and follow the thread to see how connection unfolds. That being said, if you are single and looking for a romantic spark, we will have bracelets at the door to indicate others that are also looking for a romantic connection.
DO I NEED TO UNDERSTAND HUMAN DESIGN TO ATTEND THE EVENT?
Nope! We will give each participate a little cheat sheet to help you understand yourself and others better along with ice breakers etc. However, you do not need to understand or use any of the human design or any other modalities! The beauty of these modalities is it is used like an archetype test without you having to answer any questions other than your birthdate information.
